I can't believe this leg sold out this fast wow. Even faster than LA to the Moon?

She and her team have to sit and discuss the chances of a proper, well-organized tour through 2024; one that benefits the fans all over the world, Lana herself with her physical and mental health and Lana's team with the money.

    after LDR10 hopefully🙏🏻

I wonder if trips or her tour influenced the sound of this new album…

It seems to be the case very often with her LPs since Norman

(LA to the Moon tour: there was that post about entering her blue era… which led to Norman / with the NFR tour, she has been very much inspired by the Midwest leg of the tour, tainting Chemtrails / the absence of tour or trip lead to the « quiet » BB / the emotional « trip » of losing family members inspired OB - ok, that one is a reach, I admit :omfg2:)

you got me with "the emotional trip" :smile3:

mystique. drama. romance. cunt. undeniably indelible lyricism. 100% ass-shaking bangers. a music video where she's reining a comet w her backup dancers.
    lip gloss merch. like lavish.

she'll announce the next album title in september before the holidays only to release the actual lead single in may.

this forum'll go mad. you'll all be arguing and shit-talking about x and y.

i'll stream fishtails and soak up the chaos while chuckling while waiting.

probably donning a face mask and sipping fruit infused water.

There are some interesting suggestions in the thread. The psychedelic country was interesting as well as some more hardened acoustic songs.

So here's my take after getting back into her music again and what's she's been working on  recently.

If I were hanging out at Jack Antonoffs studio to design or consult for Lana's 10th album, this is how I would structure it.

I would start off with a theatrical or some type of themed intro and go into nature boy, or a nature boy interlude part 1, maybe with Jon, or jack, or rob on piano.

Next I would build some type of beat similar to her recent free style she recorded during sound check. Something kinda chill but also has a good beat and can flow, possibly hip hop like or danceable. Think like the roots meets jazz funk.

Then I would try to crank it up, and do some type of hardened acoustic song, or a more hardened dance beat type track like a and w or body electric.

Then I would calm it down a bit, into some type of surf rock, or down tempo surf rock type of song, something like the greatest.

Then would have a poetry interlude of some sort, which segways into a country type vibe. Which would go into a different version of stand by your man.

Then maybe another poetry piece of some sort which goes into something that's somewhat bluesy, or hardened blues rock type of song.

After that I'm not too sure, lots of room, but I would try to get a soft ballad or two in there.

But I would like to hear some more poetry and a complex symphonic arrangement.

For the outro of the record I would have nature boy interlude part 2 with maybe her own lyrics, and an instrumental nature boy outro after that like she did at her show.

    OKAYYY PERIOD:squidward:

Unpopular but… The more we learn about BTD and UV’s creation, the more I think those albums were sonically « accidental » or have been pushed a lot by their respective producer… and Lana would have preferred them to sound more « stripped back ».

    and thank god they weren't
