    I'm a bit more skeptical about BOZ now because he claimed that the record was a masterpiece and weeks later he said at least one song was bad, the bleachers collab, so it's hard to know what "masterpiece" means to him, as you said it's completely subjective, can't wait to hear the grants tho :creep:

    I don't wanna go on and on about that "situation" bc that's just not the right place to do that.. but I just wanted to clarify one thing.

     

    When I mentioned middle aged women I wasn't trying to be offensive towards women of that age or women at large, it's just the type of audio that gets used countless times on instagram and that my mom would dig.

     

    Lana is getting more and more criticism for her age/appearance and that she's not relevant anymore because of that and I feel kinda bad for contributing to this narrative because that's just not my opinion.

    I understand what you're saying and I expressed the hype I felt for ldr9 many times here as well since march, it was really not that deep when I posted that and I'm sure I'm gonna like at least a great deal of the record, peace

    I literally said I hated the vibe of the sample I did not talk about the song itself, it's giving locals on instagram can't I give my honest opinion??? there's rumors she sampled that sound and I don't like the sound in question and that worries me, we'll see how this turns out eventually but apparently it's best if I don't express any feeling of disappointment here when the album comes out :biblio:

    well, if the album shares the same kind of instrumentals / vibe of the title track, it means it’s pretty different than dua’s music, which is extremely catchy and simple (reminder that he said the songs were unconventional), and he loves norman and probably her older records too

    I always forget about that, when I realised it was the album with the most features I was a bit disappointed because I love when she’s alone throughout the whole thing, plus lust for life had very eclectic features, and this one seems to have ones as well, even though I get jazzy vibes from josh and jon

    The album cover sure is a serve and this album already feels incredible, but if there aren’t any MV for this era, it will make the pre-release a bit « drier » (although, I must say, a MV needs to be really good to have my hyped for more than a few hours :coffee:)

    I feel the same as you. I think the movie would need to have a deeper meaning just like the song itself, something well thought out, mysterious but gorgeous at the same time (no werewolf special effects please :biblio:)

    I’m feeling very skeptical about music videos, I feel like there won’t be any I don’t know why. Not here to spread negativity but the way white dress and chemtrails were shot/edited didn’t feel like lana movies at all… and let’s not talk about the two bb movies (even though arcadia was cute). But if she does release music videos I’d like them to be in the vein of the honeymoon one or the 14 minutes nfr one 

     

    edit: the skepticism part comes from the fact that she didn’t release a movie for the lead single, I know it happened with the first 3 tracks from bb but that album was something else

    To me, this is the big difference between this song and the last two albums. Admittedly I love Chemtrails and Blue Banisters, but as a Lana fan they felt very private. I didn't make anyone else listen to the songs on it, and never really brought them up in conversation with my friends. This new song, though, I'm blasting out my windows and sending to everyone I know. So far everyone else seems to like it too. Lana's back babes :godlaugh:

    I’m a bit upset BOZ/insiders revealed that much just one day before the announcement, we could‘ve waited a few more hours… I don’t like knowing the name of the tracks in advance and I hope the song has not leaked already, please try not to listen to it if it does it’s way cooler when we react at the same time
