My cousin works at Interscope and gave me the following insider tea about LDR9:

    - Album title (as of now) is “Death Never Comes”. “Burden of Fame” is an alternate title that the execs are really liking right now.

    - The album is described as “unfiltered and unflattering”. Very experimental and dramatic while being piano-based. Being compared to Fiona Apple’s The Idler Wheel.

    - She will incorporate spoken word poems from “Behind the Iron Gates - Insights from an Institution” into the album as interludes. She intended on giving it the VBBOTG treatment but changed her mind last minute.

    - Album opener is titled “Change Everything”. Album closer is a poem from BTIG “My Father Told Me If I Went Slowly, I’d Be Safe - But He Was Wrong” delivered as beat poetry.

    - Track 7 is called “Leather Leotard” and is definitely the Dealer of the album. A jazzy, screamer that sounds pretty much improvised, think Rhianna’s Higher.

    -  She will shadow drop two singles Sep 2. “Brokeback Bareback” and “Prosecco and Peaches”. The second was recorded very recently and sounds like Black Bathing Suit mixed with Cruel World.

    - unreleased tracks being considered: Pawn Shop Blues, Noir, Serene Queen,  and Valley of the Dolls.

    - One of the tracks includes snippets of voice memos she’s been recording of herself sleep-talking. Being played throughout the song in a similar fashion to Adele’s My Little Love.

    - She caught some flack for ad-libbing “Fuck Marina” in one of the tracks. Expect chaotic energy coming from every song.

If she releases PSB I will die happy

    Spoiler

Broke back bareback? Girl? Really? At least be realistic

I don't know what a Sufjan Stevens is but I would be here for the idea that she travels around to get inspiration.

This year she was in New York,  Rhode Island,  Bahamas,  Italy , infront of that prison,  in the Mississippi river and probably other places I forgot , but please imagine they all would inspire/influence the new album somehow:trisha:

Tennessee too according to her story!

Lana’s Instagram story video with Marilyn & James was taken inside of Lamplighter Lounge, a bar in Memphis, Tennessee! x

JUST IN: California's even sadder sister (and like mixed with a lil' Methamphetamines, 13 Beaches and Heroin in it) is going to be on LDR9!!! But with a more rich production obviously. Rumor also has it, it is indeed the greatest song in the world. I stole God's laptop when he wasn't looking and saw it myself. So. Stanning is winning ladies :pray2:

    (Yes. And:)

Just gotta say that judging by your username you've got some lovely taste

    Is this a joke or

did it really feel like a thousand years?

well… one time i listened to brooklyn baby while high (weed) & it felt like it was an hour long… i guess that pales in comparison…

I once listened to Guns & Roses and Bel Air on shrooms and it was the best thing I’ve ever experienced honestly. Absolutely incredible.

    Spoiler

If you’re in an ok mental space, I highly recommend

They’re new here. We’ll see if they come through. fl0r1daskil0s called them a liar on multiples occasions. So we’ll see. He talked about a FJM collab and the sound of the album. If their description of the album is true, LDR9 could be one of my faves from her. They also said that DNC would be out in July 🤷🏼

I think an fjm collab and having a sound similar to buddy’s rendezvous is actually pretty similar to how I think Lana described the album

i wonder if she thought of the song when she saw that on the jacket, you would think she’d remember majority of the songs she’s recorded? even if they were outtakes?

Wasn’t cult leader very close to being on ultraviolence? I thought cult leader was one of her favorite outtakes , but I may be misremembering
