  1. @@kik organized trip does seem weird. If I was lead into a room where she's sitting at a table to sign stuff for people paying for a meet and greet it would feel too contrived. BUT if she decides in May/June to throw in m&g, I'm totally on board (my secret wish lol). BTW youte gorgeous Kik!
  2. I only know you and my bro, we'll have to make friends in line. Did your friend get a GA ticket?
  3. I think only dedicated fans are buying the VIP package. In general, I find that people either don't care about Lana or they are really really into her. Within those that do buy the VIP packages (myself included) I don't think that shelling out money means less dedication than those that wait in line for 10hours. Time is money. I can work X amount of hours to make enough to buy the VIP ticket or I can wait X amount of hours on the asphalt. I chose to work in the comfort of my office, but I'm still going to arrive early to get a better advantage to the front row. Damn right I'm never letting go of that barricade! I'm hitting the gym and pumping iron the next six months in preparation!
  4. No offense taken I'm used to having to defend my Lana-obsession so I can't tone down my bluntness. You see, I want the experience you had when you last saw her! I've also gone to her last show that was all general admission, but I didn't line up because it was during a trip. So I feel like this is my chance since it's in my own city. If I paid for the regular GA, lined up and was stuck behind 3 rows of people (I'm 5'2") I would entirely regret not getting VIP. I totally agree that once is enough, very likely I won't go for the pit at future shows I attend. I'm glad we both got the tickets we wanted!! @@kik were you able to get tickets?
  5. I'm paying "so much" because I haven't seen her front row. Not to say that $250 is easy to come by, but I think the money is worth the chance to greet her, even knowing that it's not guaranteed.
  6. Yay!!!!!!! I was wondering whether you got tickets when I came back down to earth!
  7. $250 Canadian for the silver package. I didn't look at other packages.
  8. I GOT MY VIP SILVER TICKET!!!!!! (on ticketmaster for Toronto show, we are the first time zone to have tickets released) CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY FOR ME!!!!! There is no code needed if you buy VIP tickets. I tried the Facebook presale code when I got desperate, but it told me that the code was wrong. Then I went back to trying to get VIP which doesn't need a code. GOODLUCK EVERYONE!!!!!! I AM FLOATING!!!
  9. Do it up girl! I know what you mean, growing up poor. I never wanted things in my early life cause I knew it was challenging for my rents. Now I make my own way and I want to live my life. If I get a selfie with Lana I'll retire from the pit for future shows I go to.
  10. Hoping for this! I noticed the crowd at Hollywood Forever looked 20+, and the vibe was mellow pre-show. Maybe it was because of the venue. Can't say about the pit though.
  11. Yay!!!!! I've only seen her once in Hollywood. Did you? I don't know if Toronto fans are as rabid as other cities. Tty in PM?
  12. Anyone know if the Facebook presale code will be the same as the VIP presale code?
  13. Wish I had you two to wait with all day for the front row! @ @ I'm vying for VIP presale GA too!
  14. I have to get tickets to the Toronto show, I can't pull another 2 thousand mile flight a la Hollywood Forever.
  15. Her SOC performance was not part of her planned set list. Before singing it she had a back and forth with the band and she would say- that one? do we know that one? how does it start? Seemed a band member suggested it and kind of urged her on to do it. It was not a perfect performance but we were so lucky to hear the first live SOC performance, sung purely from passion.
  16. I got a ticket for the Saturday show! I'm coming from Canada and it's my first Lana show! Has anyone been to the Hollywood Forever venue for other concerts? I want to know if the gates to the entire cemetery are going to be closed until the show. Are you planning on lining up at the gates or in the cemetery at the stage, because that's pretty open space.
