I like we got the VB demo on TT. But I don't understand why she mixed both of these songs together. And I don't get why she ended the album with a song that, yes, is iconic, but it was already on another album. Like this, the ending feels like she is recycling and referencing herself, which is fine. but it lacks originality. What do you all think?

The answer is simple. Initially, there was another song recorded for the album that got replaced by Candy Necklace. It fits right between these two interludes because of it's wild and unhinged nature. Candy Necklace is way more accessible which is why they decided to switch these songs. I guess the former song will be used in the future but I wouldn't count on it too much, she's screaming in the chorus and the lyrics are almost inaudible.

I’d only listened to The Grants three or four times when it leaked. And when it released today I didn’t really have much time to listen to it. But I just found a calm moment and closed my eyes and really listened to the song and it made me well up. Y'all its too good
