    Been wanting to talk about this stupid podcast for a while-- I agree with a lot of the criticisms towards Violet. From Lana wanting it to be free because "my thoughts are priceless," equating authenticity to looking trashy (eg the pic on the back), having coffee stains and bad gramma and emojis on your published book, two pages of the same poem back to back except one is the draft and one isn’t, and overall the book being extremely short but bloated with pictures to have enough pages to be sold as a "book." 

     

    Those loads of issues aside... this podcast quite literally sounds like it came out of 2013. The way these people talk about a literal nobody to them is so just so? Weird. The nepotism allegations before even looking her up?

     

    Both are walking the fine line between just being rude and misogynistic.  

     

    Anyways. Both are big losers. And their critics are barely about the words? and if they like the poems they'd brush it off and go on a tangent about something larger than just the poems like her persona. Tiring. Boring.

    Bravo to Charli for sticking to her artistic vision, truly. But if you’re expecting fans to cough up £40 for a physical, they’re gonna have something to say about it. I don't care that she isn't on the cover. I don't need her to be. I care that's it's rancid, and no amount of condescending essays explaining why it's rancid will make it any less rancid.

    You just said that you respect Charli for sticking to her "trashy" artistic vision and then went on to complain about it being trashy/rancid :tiffany2:. And yes, it is rancid but if that's the point then I don't see the problem, and I find it makes it better because of the fact that it IS intentional, if she made that cover with the intention of it being beautiful then I would be trashing it just as much lmao

    I def think the other mystery thing is Spring Breakers as a b side, idk why else she’d randomly post a 40 sec snippet and she obviously loves the song so (or it’s the next single that’ll be out by the time it ships)
