humans are late humans get anxious

she literally said "I freak the fuck out" before every show when crowds were 10x smaller

it's a job, people show up late to work, people call off sick

people who bought tickets certainly have a right to be upset

it's also true that it's unfair to pretend we know why she's been late and know it was a stupid reason or act as if she's doing the easiest thing in the world for someone who has consistently said she gets stage fright

    and you're right. it's been 3 shows. 3 shows after a 4 year break

Ok stop bringing up humans and the fact that she’s a human, at no point did I imply she was some alien who flew to earth solely to perform on time and nothing els. However, to follow on, people who often show up late or call in sick to work are often fired… that obviously doesn’t apply to the entertainment industry entirely so it’s not really a comparison

Her feelings are valid, she’s allowed to feel however she’s feeling but again it clearly isn’t being managed effectively.

or maybe she's - as she's said for 10 years - very very nervous about playing in front of huge crowds for the first time in 4 years?

or 100 other things since she's a human person lol

She’s human yes but has been consistently late for each show she’s done this year (bearing in mind that’s only 3 shows) so why isn’t her team and the people around her then stepping in to manage that.

I’m not saying she shouldn’t feel nervous playing a massive crowd but surely it would put you more on edge and create more anxiety knowing that you’re now late and the show won’t get to go as you had planned and rehearsed

I personally like having my unreleased collection organized and I’ve put a lot of effort into it so I’ll probably just put the file back into one of my collections, this might just be because it’s the first thing I saw when I woke up but like why couldn’t she just use an old outtake for the cover? Or an ob outtake? I’ve always felt like that was  a glamorous song and I wish the cover would reflect that lol. I’m mostly pissed off about the “Lizzie Grant” though, it just is so unorganized:air2:

The cover is boring and I get what you're saying, choices have been made

but yeah it's definitely the Lizzie credited that's set me right off

  4. My question is why? Like why now? I'm sure its amazing, but I'm sure of that because we already know the fucking song.

I get that these unreleased songs are now hitting with the TikTokers but SYTH has been a gem in the unreleased catalogue for fans for AGES.

I feel like Lana's team don't really know what way they're being pulled atm. Everything seems very muddled and without any clear direction. Maybe it's so she can play it live - but she could do that anyway without an official release like Serial Killer idk

And also this close after an album release??

And to top it all off to be credited as LIZZIE...with an IE... since when? for why? It's no big deal in the long run but it's also like consistency ???

Sorry this ended up being a rant but idgi

  5. ALL OF THESE EDITS ARE AMAZING!!!

Honestly these are so much nicer than when people photoshop her head on other people - especially when people then forget which ones are really her lol.  I get tho this is all a relatively new way to edit but they look soooooo beautiful and interesting

  6. Firstly, I love the music video! It’s amazing. I expected no less

I’ve also seen lots of comments about the references to other videos era etc throughout but just noticed when she takes the blonde wig off after the show those curls are giving Ride MV vibes. I’m sure someone else picked up on this but god her mind :crying:

It's been one week and the thread is dying? I'm still on a high from this album!

I play it in the car... I hear something different. I play it on my sonos... I hear the expansive production. I play at night in bed in my Head Phones and the quiet little background details come to life.

I'm still not done processing it and yall have disappeared? :noparty:

I don’t know if maybe the leaks have saturated the threads in the last 24 hours

but I totally agree with you everytime I listen to it I learn, find or start appreciating something new! How is everyone still now in awe?

  8. I have such an appreciation and strong affiliation with Lana but I don’t necessarily think she’s a role model for me.

She more resonates with me,  I feel a connection to the music and I can picture the parts of me that I relate to it but I don’t want to model my life to be like her and I know there are definitely things that on a personal level I maybe wouldn’t have the same opinion on

So realistically boz implied there was a huge

    supridr.

there's no way it was pop up or listening party as this is standard (fun! But standard) Lana promo. Does this surprise exsist or not?maybe visual album incoming?

Perhaps not a visual album but maybe more of a return to her more theatrical and longer visuals, isn’t the director of the Candy Necklace is the same as White Mustang and Doin Time (correct me if I’m wrong). Just as the last ones were more home made (I know partly due to covid but) just a thought. Though I’d love a visual album
