ever since the album leak (which i've somehow managed to not listen to) i've been desperately trying to catch up on the thread but everytime i'm gone for a couple of hours there's like 30 new pages needless to say i'm finally caught up with a newfound hype!! (especially since the track i claimed months ago was candy necklace)

i definitely agree. as much as i adore this track (it’s literally top 5 lana album openers for me idc), it really could’ve benefited from having a bridge with some added instruments like drums, kind of similar to the bridge of honeymoon. and then having the final chorus after with the grand instrumentals and the background singers would’ve just been the icing on the cake.

everything from this album so far is just sounding so grand and cinematic, almost in the same vein as honeymoon but with an almost hopeful aura whereas honeymoon was much darker. these albums are like sisters to me.
