i really wanna like portals and be happy for melanie but the problem is these lyrics (spider web, botl, light shower) and then that lyric in nymphology im just having trouble liking this era beyond the aesthetic as i enjoy cottage core and fairies and shit but not these weird ass lyrics.
Like shes proven she can make masterpieces with clever analogies and metaphors but these new lyrics just feel so empty and immature. Im so glad to read the thread recently and see im not alone on this. I just dont see how cumming and period blood really fits in with the theme.
