I'm not surprised. There's a whole side of Twitter that believes everyone in Hollywood is secretly trans and satanic. I worry about people sometimes

“Starry Eyed” rework for Lasso 

The hidden background vocals in the Lucky Ones chorus are to die for. I need them isolated. I don’t think she’s ever sang like that aside from there and maybe Off to the races. Deep but kinda nasally? “Every now and then the stars align…” I think it’s easier to hear in the demo.

So is YLM not about Joe? Or maybe she wrote it during one of the downs of their relationship?

I’ve been feeling that TTPD will be acoustic pop. It makes sense with how she said songwriting was important this album. It also just feels right after the last couple of synth heavy albums (1989TV & Midnights).

Underrated track with a beautiful sound. I was obsessed with it back in the day. Lake Placid has overshadowed it now, but I’ll always love this one!
