Side note: So many people on Twitter are making her seem like a bad person for going to the Waffle House and “cosplaying” as middle class but literally how many celebs take time out of their day to spend hours at a Waffle House just hanging out with the employees with no gain or ulterior motive. Like Lana is just out there living life, we wouldn’t have even known about it if employees didn’t post about it

Also the way this is on every news outlet is so funny lmao😭 Not even just local news

twitter just wants something to be angry about 🙄

Why people dislike LFL? Or not consider it one of the best? I actually need reasons, I'd like to have answers for my analysis of this album I'll perhaps post here one day :true:

Also what a perfect day for leakers to leak Silverlake, Everything I Do, LA Who Am I, Gucci, Poetry In Motion, Something Real, Malibu, Sugary Sweet, Say Yes To Heaven and Fina China (LFL versions), Roses Bloom For You and all the demos and outtakes and mixes and alt versions and photos from LFL era. Why keep it, sharing is caring :true:

i just think there are 2 albums in one and they dont really work together. coachella is were they both meet and is a mess

but i really loved an analysis you posted on this thread with 4 different eps i never heard or seen this album that way <3

We honestly didn’t appreciate this era at the time: five singles, numerous magazine shoots and articles, many interviews where she revealed tracks’ names, radio premiere. We had been fed so much and yet, we were complaining pretty much every day. True, it took a long time to get the release date (which is my biggest trigger when it comes to her pre-releases), but God this pre-release  era was pleasant, compared to Norman’s :oopna:

well i was active at twitter at that time so i dont know how were on this forum back then.

but i really enjoyed this era - i would put it her second best era after btd era just bc THAT was an era and, well all the other eras were the same :noparty:

I was obsessed with BTD, video games and Summertime when I was 8. Those were the only songs I listened for months on my mini iPad. Ofc I didn’t understand a thing the lyrics were saying but her melancholic voice and the visuals of Ride hypnotized me. Eventually I got over the songs and forgot about her until 5 years later when I saw a picture of her at the beach in my country because she was headlining lollapalooza 2018 and I was like “WHAT? I know this bitch” and cried a lot bc I wanted to see her but it was impossible :trisha:   And now we’re here

  5. i think i said it before but before i got into lana i had 2  interactions with her work

once the mv for born to die was broadcast at a TV channel that was all about music videos.  I thought she was a spanish 30 something singer... i enjoyed but nothing that had an intense impact on me

second time Blue jeans mv was playing in another tv channel and i got really scared wih the images of her swimming with the crocs lol i was 12 ??

those memories where enough for me to remember her name and voice that i even told my brother she was the singer of i follow rivers ☠️

But it was only in 2013 that i attached to lana. Ride was part of the soundtrack of a novela and i got so moved with the song. The novela came to an end and i ended up letting go... but one afternoon after watching a few steamy male videos online :brows: i remembered the song and searched it on youtube... the rest is history💗

Im pretty sure 75% of the brazilian fanbase of lana around 2012-2014 was formed bc of ride playing at that novela and summertime sadness remix

I'm like this 🤏 close to buying the vinyl because this album cover is gorgeous, I want to be able to experience the cover and the rest of the artwork on a large print, and I want to support Troye because I love everything about this era so far.

Buuuuttt, I feel stupid buying a vinyl when I don't have a record player, have no intention of ever getting one, it's like $40 with shipping, and while I do like Troye's music generally, I don't listen to him a lot. Help. :ohno:

well if you want just buy it. theres nothing wrong with doing whatever you want with your own money:true:

The cute thing about vynil is The quality of The pictures... and honestly i dont think anyone who has vynils or physical copies in general plays them 24/7

Any vocal experts here? I just have a question.

Doesn't smoking damage your lower register and doesn't your voice get lower as you age?

I'm just wondering why Lana doesn't use her lower register more often recently,if the above 2 statements are true.

im no expert BUT i have to say lana must have Golden vocal chords cause shes been smoking since god-knows-whhen and is a vape diva yet her voice sounds better and better :blush3:

but lana is young, and shes surely more confident in performing so it helps
