does anyone know the recording dates of any of the unreleased tracks from 2017? trying to organize my library and discerning whether something is from xcx world/pop 2/early charli sessions is driving me insane

really loving how the songs from the post Crash era feel. i think while Crash was a good album, it felt too much like it was trying to prove something, whereas these new tracks feel like she's really growing artistically and building on her legacy. you can hear this a lot in how self-referential Spring Breakers is with the Boom Clap + Vroom Vroom references (and i just realized how similar the drum programming is to Taxi)... she's really out here making cheeky references to her most iconic tracks while breaking through to an unprecedented level of cuntery. we love to see it. i can only imagine what other serves XCX6 has in store for us. it's probably too early in the game rn but still hoping we get some news about it soon!!

in lieu of spring breakers i'd be ok with any of the pop 2 stems we still don't have.... just saying!

charli confirmed XCX6 is finished in a red carpet interview at the fashion awards (which she looked stunning at)... coming 2024 but we already knew that! so hyped for the album, what's everyone hoping for? i really like the conversational writing on Girl and the baby song so i'd love to hear more of that (AND SPRING BREAKERS...) pop 2's older sister maybe?

SOPHIE x Dorian did happen, they did a track with Pussy Riot- which Nadya said was up to SOPHIE to release! i would've loved to hear a collab with Caroline Polachek or Grimes tbh, one of SOPHIE's strengths was constructing a sonic world that fit the singer's personality so well and theirs are quite unique- which would result in something very interesting imo. miss her so much, can't believe it'll be 3 years since she passed soon. hearing new music from her was my favorite thing everrr & it's a shame we might never experience that again. not getting my hopes up for a posthumous release at this point but i'd be happy to get anything, even if it's just the transnation leaks fully mixed + mastered

it's Flip It by BEAUZ, Pink Panda, & RayRay. i'll admit i moved but i'll still be hoping for an actual Charli x Doss moment this era, i feel like her production could serve "club emergency"

sounds pretty real to me... i can't really hear any of the slight weirdness that comes with AI vocals, i think this is just a super rough demo with not a lot of processing on her vox. hopefully this is one of the reject tracks that won't be on the album because i want to go into it as blind as possible, but this is really good. anyways barbie girl when??

i mean if we learned anything from HIFN it's not to take her lyrics by themselves at face value... i thought the claws lyrics were awful when she posted that notes app ss and absolutely ate crow when the song came out
