I love Lana Del Rey because her image is carefully constructed with attention to extreme detail. This way, the poetry of blending our ideas about religion, sex, nationalism, relationships, love, self-image, self-consciousness, Lana-Del-Rey consciousness..... really feels so helpful. Mostly impressed that Elizabeth Grant is not literally insane. She is a genius though. She makes me realize how messed up and post-structural the world is and shows me how to be myself and how to be okay with realizing that in life, there is no guarantee that you will ever be able to understand everything. She is like literally an angel of philosophy.
