Inspired by recent conversations on lanaboards about their cover of 'Say Yes To Heaven', I figured it was time for them to have their own thread as more people hopefully get into their music! Fontaines D.C. are an Irish post-punk band formed in 2014, D.C. standing for Dublin City. The band consists of Grian Chatten, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan III, Tom Coll & Carlos O'Connell. Currently they have released 4 albums, their most recent, "Romance", released in August 2024. They recently played the same days at Reading & Leeds as Lana and have a unique style & sound. all i’m gonna say on the matter is… it’s insane to expect people not to be somewhat disappointed especially after that graphic anti-trans post, whether he’s changed or not. i’m not looking to get into discourse on the matter though. everyone’s opinion is important and valid and these discussions are good
