    Idk if they’re the ones she wanted to use for the MV, but I loved the visuals she played when she performed it on tour

    Not the OB slander :coffee: the production is amazing. Like I understand some of tracks were literally recorded on an iPhone, but that just makes it more intimate to me. The production tells a story, and the album is literally like a movie. It is so well put together. Best album of all time.

    Thanks or the suggestions :kiss: but I’ve listened to both K-12 and Portals multiple times and they just don’t click for me. It’s funny you actually did mention the few songs I kinda like (Drama Club, Lunchbox Friends, Detention, and Tunnel Vision), but they don’t rlly stand out enough for me to add to a playlist or anything. Maybe I should give them more of a chance to grow on me though.

    i want to like her post-crybaby stuff sooo bad but i just can’t. i was a fan back in 2015 and crybaby is one of my favorite albums, but I simply cannot enjoy most of her new stuff. k-12 is meh, and portals is actually embarrassingly bad imo.

    the songs i do like off the records i like a lot tho (class fight, teacher’s pet, death, void, light shower).  i deeply respect melanie as an artist and can see that she truly puts so much into her craft, i just wish i could enjoy it as much as others do

    i would HEAVILY enjoy a billie collab, but I honestly  can’t stand olivia musically. if they have a collab let’s hope it’s for olivia’s album :delicious:

    Most of Born To Die tbh. A lot of the production is too heavy in my opinion, and I would gravitate to the album a lot more if it was dialed back a bit. I’m not saying take the “pop” out of it, but just tone it down some. I especially hate the guy yelling “HEY” randomly throughout the album - it’s so unnecessary.

    No seriously… a meme page I follow on IG was posting memes about it immediately after it happening being like “I was gonna wait until tomorrow but I want to get on this while it’s hot” or something… like what? Not to sound like a boomer or anything but this generation is so unserious.

    but tough has thrown me off so much, I can’t imagine a tough soundscape alongside a country, rock, blues sound 

    If Lasso is still a thing, I think this is why Lana gave Tough to Quavo - it doesn’t fit what Lasso’s going to sound like but it’s still like a little Segway into her country era. I don’t think Tough is at all a reflection of what to expect from Lasso.
