the physicals have the version of the album that was leaked. off the top of my head miss possessive had no spoken intro, sports car had the same prechorus twice and no bridge plus the chorus wasn't really whispered, greenlight's beat wasn't as prominent throughout the song and obviously it had better than i was + call my bluff instead of like i do + means i care + the 2 collabs. everything in general was mixed worse and with less extra vocals but mixes do change a lot so it was mostly the leak quality making it sound worse lol and while i'm talking about the leak apparently this was gonna be the cover (the album would've dropped in december) with Star Child as the title as she teased in the it's ok i'm mv, but after that underperformed (in their eyes of course, I thought it did great cuz she was never gonna have another greedy so soon like...) the label pushed it back

I was talking about it with oomf cuz she could've even cut a few minutes of drones in Pulldrone to add it since its just 6m and the lenght would stay the same but I have a feeling she had a set of requirements for the ep and since it's already 9 songs and both of these were pure instrumentals she had to choose one

iirc she had mentioned track 8 was the one she was the one she wanted us to hear the most and Thatorchia was put in its place last minute so this must be that track! it's very light and warm compared to the rest of the ep, I wonder if the title references The Reflecting Skin like Amber Waves

happy perverts release day everyone <3 can't stop thinking about it and probably won't think about anything else for weeks. highly suggest reading her recent tumblr asks to appreciate the project even more and for those of you who can't connect with the sound of a drone stretched over 1.5 hours she said she's gonna finish the b-sides now so don't leave the fandom yet!

oomf's oomf so like take it with a grain of salt LMFAO but I believe he has direct contact with her sooo i'd add Grouper - Alien Observer to that ambient list, one of the most beautiful projects i've heard, specially Come Softly

judging by what ppl have said there's 3 ambient tracks and 1 with a long ambient outro, pulldrone 100% feels like one of those because ambient is a genre like any other. i understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, i also prefer her tracks with lyrics, but i think dismissing it like this is worse than anyone being pretentious
