    Look at Dua Lipa — or even Meghan Trainor — that is an insane amount of promo. What we had were just crumbs, tbh 2-3 magazine covers, listening parties & 2 pop-up shops are not an insane amount of promo. We didn’t even have a single MV pre-release, let alone a MV on release day :nails:

    Abt the touring part, only Twitter stans make up those rumors, it’s like saying every album she releases it’s gonna be her last one. She def didn’t tour bc of the pandemic cuz homegirl was booked tho (can’t believe she was gonna come to Portugal in 2020 after just being here in 2019 — fuck you COVID!).

    I mean, considering there was a pandemic going on when those albums came out, most of what you said wasn’t actually possible.

    Ocean Blvd def didn’t have a lot of promo like OP said. It def had some promo but like, there’s no MVs out yet, sure there’s magazines & interviews but Chemtrails/Banisters did have some as well (not that many, I reckon) & Banisters also had a pop up shop. Also, both of them had more MVs pre-release

    you can get the money back thru amazon gift card too tho

    They really give you 40% back? Ooh, I’ll definitely do that. Bummer that mine will only arrive at the end of the next week, even though I also preordered it back in December lmao
