The double standards are because when it was only Eclipse, there was no chance or risk of stuff leaking. He was free to talk about it without some joining in and trying to get attention by potentially leaking something. But now when 1 person talks about the song(s)/video, there is a risk that others will want attention and start teasing/leaking. The fact that some people other than Eclipse have stuff now and the fact that a still leaked and such are making people scared and they are right to be scared. It was safe talking when it was only Eclipse, now it is not anymore.

The person who leaked HBTB was here, his name was Carson or something like that He went by the username CarcrashBandicoot if I'm not mistaken.

You are misinformed. He had YAIL (and other stuff) since April. He also tweeted one line of lyric back then. After that one radio host posted falsely that LDR5 was coming in November, he replied to him using the same line of lyrics he shared in April and he also tagged Lana. That's what got attention from Lana. Barely "started to tease it" when he was just reposting what he already teased I guess at one point long ago. He never teased or said much more than that in all the months between April-Nov, even when he was leaking old snippets/songs in summer.

The only reason why Eclipse gets a pass because he has been constantly reliable. This is not about him being treated like god. Of course no one's gonna believe a newbie coming around claiming to have whatever they have because a lot of the time it has been shown to be nothing but trolling. The only way people would believe you is if you were to actually leak something but that can't happen this time cause it would ruin everything.
