IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE GAME Before we open sign-ups, we wanted to let you know about a few changes to the game. 1. You are now playing as the artist, not as a manager. - 2. So just to give you guys a bit more information, it would be a game here on lanaboards.com with a thread. You organising management, marketing, promotion, etc. If you go to www.gagadaily.com and click "Community Center" you'll find a thread for the game - it should give you some more info

So, #PopIndustry is a game in which you become the manager of a pre-fame version of an artist, e.g. Lana (or somebody less well known - or yourself, if you're a musician) and complete challenges to help them rise to fame. The goal of the game is to of course win, but to also have your act's songs do well on the Billboard Charts, adding to their scores each week. Since February, I have hosted #PopIndustry, and it has successfully launched on two forums now, and I hope I can continue this by bringing it to Lana Boards! I'm so torn about Nocturnes 1. It's a fantastic album and I love it to bits. 2. I prefer "Hands" because I love that kind of music too. I kinda feel bad about wanting "Nocturnes" to be more commercial because I want her to rise the charts.

I worship this woman. She is absolutely amazing. So poetic, beautiful yet instantly understandable. Her songs are just so brilliant. The new album is sure to be amazing. Hands is the second-best record of 2009 (behind Gaga's THE FAME MONSTER) and Remedy is pure perfection. I really hope she tours in support of Nocturnes. Shame about the unreleased tracks, must have been devastating
