    I honestly don't understand where she stands with her poetry books anymore.

    I thought Violet was going to be audio and out soon, and Behind the iron gates, a physical book. But there's a strong possibility Violet will have a physical release as well in November (I think? based on the Amazon links we found?) and the other one in March... but she teased the spoken-word version of one of poems of the second book... So...both physical releases and somewhere between? after? that, the spoken-word versions of some of the poems from both books?!?!? Or maybe both will have audio and physical releases?!? 

    I'm now excited to hear her poetry, after the two poems teased with Jack's music in the background.

     

    I guess she will release the book after COtCC. She wants the win at the grammys now. Big time

    I asked @MXDH, who is a native French speaker, and it literally says her health is fragile, so she can't commit to an interview/appearance in 2021. 

     

    So it's just a question of whether or not it's a reliable show (?) or whatever it is.

    All I'll say is that there was a tweet from a French (or at least, French language) show last week that said that they had asked her to re-schedule an interview she had scheduled this year, for next year. She personally replied that she couldn't commit to an interview in 2021 because she was in "fragile health". Take all of this with a grain of salt because I do not know the show - I think it was called Green TV or something? Any French users familiar? I only saw the screenshot; I'll see if I can find it again ...

    I guess this about the whole Corona situation. Interesting that they mention her health. I hope someone who is French could help us out

    honestly i’ve never really believed her when she said she hasn’t had a drink in 15 years but the drugs comment really surprised me because I thought that was wayyy behind but ig not...yeah i mean i really hope shes clean of any drugs and i hope shes healthy and stuff because the things she survived in these past few weeks probably really got to her and let’s hope she hasn’t indulged in anything harsh (a lil weed never hurt no one) x

    I hope she doesn’t try to escape from problems by using addictive drugs. I agree

    I don’t want to speak this into existence, but I’m doing it anyways.

     

    If the ‘prediction’ is meant to be about Lana. It could be about her drug use. I feel a lot of her songs go about relationships with drugs, instead of men. Florida Kilos glamorizes coke/crack, but that’s obvious.

     

    Around the Lust for Life era someone asked in an interview if she did drugs and she said ‘no comment.’

    She really wants to hide this side, but at the same time doesn’t.

     

    What do you think about this?

    Mhm yep. Sorry was gonna ask how things were in the Netherlands, just didn't wanna potentially derail the thread. No one's really active right now, so I guess it might b alrite for the time being. What's up?

    - maybe it seems off topic, but I feel like it isn’t.

     

    I guess it is one of the main reasons black people are treated differently in the USA.

    In the Netherlands we all pay taxes, but everyone gets the same education

    You pay more when you earn more.

     

    We also demonstrate at the moment, racism is still a thing. For example we have a holiday called Sinterklaas. He comes to the Netherlands every december and brings black Pete which is basically a slave...

     

    While we all live together as a multicultural society

    This was a really great n concise informational video. Honestly, just had no idea that schools were funded partially on property taxes, which yeah would really affect the quality of schools, especially of redlining.

     

    I know that the bank's sort of like a separate entity that's kinda detached from the government (as well as have a different type of reach, economy, foreign ties etc.) , so, is there any kind of regulation that the government can enforce to get rid of that?

    If the taxes go into one big deposit every school gets the same amount of money :)

     

    And could be regulated which depends on the size of the school

    I know white privilege is a bad thing, mostly because white people don’t know they’re treated differently. That’s also the reason white people can’t think how things must feel for the black community. Tho not everything has bad intentions

    Hmm not sure though but kinda get what you mean but maybe West Coast but it also has pyschedelic vibes ..get a summer/beachy Vibe from Florida Kilos....but I think that Kill Kill and the background music of her newest poem gave me surf noir vibes

     

    And Wayamaya definetly has a surfy sound to it and FILLY has maybe some surfy feel as well but that also be bc of the music video
