I’ve always thought that too! But a lot of people have it as 2015-2016 Most of her early 2018 sessions were for pitching (as said by Charli) and she worked with The Invisible Men during that time, and Madison released the song later that year. So I personally assumed it was from that time but we’ve never had any real confirmation I suppose!

I think the first one is correct; she said Mike Wise was a producer from that tweet a while back and she said she wrote UTKM at Stargate’s studios (they weren’t actually involved in the song tho). I think Yuck might be one of the pitch songs, presumably done by Bülow (Megan Buelow) who is a small artist here in Canada, because the lyrics of Yuck sound a lot like a song of her’s called ‘This Is Not A Love Song’ (iirc)

Oh I would absolutely die if she included Taxi. I was actually just thinking the other day how great it would be if an XCX World track was used for the deluxe because there are some obvious big pop moments from those sessions. Even, say, Waterfall would be a great choice if she didn’t feel like revisiting any of the Sophie material at the moment

Literally feel the exact same way I can’t explain it fully but I knew she was gonna make an album just like this when I heard Charli. She seemed particularly passionate about the poppier side of that record (1999/Blame It On Your Love/White Mercedes) and I always hoped/knew she would give us a full-length version of that.

Do you have any thoughts on where Idea 3 and Time & Envy belong? I wonder if, when she said she only did one song with Sophie for the Charli album, she was maybe referring to one of the 5 songs that were scrapped from the final tracklist? Cause idk why else she would say that if they did 3 (or possibly even more) songs during that time (I’m still organizing some of my collection hence all these questions lmao)
