Is it just me, or did Lana do something like Paris Hilton and talk in a softer voice at the beginning of her career? Like I know that it's fairly obvious, but is it like an actual thing?

If she does perform Cherry tomorrow (which she probably will) I think there's a good chance of it being put on itunes afterwards because she's performing at 6 PM PST which is still early enough for her to release it tomorrow night/at midnight!

Wow I can't wait to see her outfit tomorrow! I also can't wait to see what she does with Cherry! Tomorrow is going to be such a fun day!

I must admit that the teaser also made me think that she could potentially mean that the album itself is coming soon along with the vid... but I know it's not realistic....

I don't work until next Tuesday, but I will for sure ask my friends in the electronics department to look into it!

Okay, I know you guys probably don't care at all lol, but I work at Target and I know for a fact that we don't get albums and stuff until 1-3 days before the release! Like it's usually the day before, but the earliest we'd get it is 3 days before the release. In my opinion, there is no way that'd we'd keep an album in our backroom for 2 months while waiting for the release, and furthermore, if we DID agree to do that somehow, I'm more than positive that someone would eventually accidentally put it out (not necessarily in MY store, but at SOME target somewhere), and it'd easily be leaked online soon after!

Okay I'm not entirely sure, so someone please fill me in, but in the snippet do we know if the live band was playing or if it was JUST a track? Cuz if the live band was playing with a vocal track in the back isn't there a possibility that the track might have a slightly different instrumentation and that it was changed to fit the band?

That's what I was wondering myself! Like why didn't they just say "As of right now we don't have any info about the release date of the album, but we will have the album in our store once it is officially released!" The way that they worded their response was just kinda fishy to me!

IDK! I replied and said "Oh, well this Rolling Stone article said it'd be out May 26th, so I just wanted to see if you'd have it then!" and linked them to the Rolling Stone article that had the 26th date in it.

Okay, so I emailed my local record store and said: "Hello, Lana Del Rey's new album, Lust For Life, is going to be released on May 26th and I was wondering if you guys are going to have the CD and Vinyl in stock on the day of it's release." I wanted to act like it was confirmed just to see if they could give me some answers, and this was there response: "Nope - no album is coming yet. One new song is digital only. I literally just went THROUGH it with this song! I went from HATING it to liking it now! It's super cute and the intention of the song is so pure and nice! I think it doesn't take itself to seriously and it's just meant to make us feel better and she's letting us know that she's thinking of us and hoping the best for our futures.
