He is best known for representing Bulgaria in 2017's Eurovision Song Contest with his song "Beautiful Mess" and finishing in second place, making him the most successful Bulgarian contestant in history. Subsequently, he was one of the winners of the 2018 European Border Breakers Award (EBBA), following artists such as Adele, Lykke Li, Tove Lo, and Years & Years. In addition to that, he won this year's prestigious EBBA Public Choice Award, filling Dua Lipa's shoes. On 10 August 2018, he released his debut EP, "Shower Thoughts", featuring the single "Get It".
