x VB Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 West Coast is the only song that doesn’t have a bridge and doesn’t need to have one 3 http:// The legacy
Valerie Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 West Coast is the only song who doesn’t have a bridge and doesn’t need to have one West Coast is prime Lana. Such brilliance requires no bridges 8
Vanilla Icy Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Bored To Death > Norman's Demos yes i do agree born to die bridges are phenomenal and much prefered than nfr without bridges but i guess that's just how jackoff writes i love you, but you don't understand me.
UltraviolenceBaby Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 West Coast is the only song who doesn’t have a bridge and doesn’t need to have one exactly
Valerie Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Me and my friends, we miss rock and roll *assigns Jackoff as producer of album instead* 9
house of balloons Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 West Coast is prime Lana. Such brilliance requires no bridges cant believe some people thought it was over produced and overshadowed the lyrics/vocals 2
Obduration Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Imagine thinking a bridge is what makes a good song!!! Can’t relate! 3
Valerie Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Imagine thinking a bridge is what makes a good song!!! Can’t relate! We already established that some brilliant songs do not need them, hence the West Coast discussion! 3
house of balloons Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Imagine thinking a bridge is what makes a good song!!! Can’t relate! it doesn't but Lana has some amazing bridges, it's only natural for us to expect a good bridge. 3
ilovetati Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Me and my friends, we miss rock and roll *assigns Jackoff as producer of album instead* Half of the songs are 60-70s rock inspired and the others are Laurel Canyon piano ballads - some piano rock. You’re doing too much. 3
Valerie Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Half of the songs are 60-70s rock inspired and the others are Laurel Canyon piano ballads - some piano rock. You’re doing too much. There is nothing rock and roll about this record
Vanilla Icy Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Imagine thinking a bridge is what makes a good song!!! Can’t relate! it doesn't, but honestly some of lana's songs would be extremely underwhelming without them IT'S FUCKIN HOT HOT WINTER IN THE CITY 8 i love you, but you don't understand me.
Cacciatore Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 yes i do agree born to die bridges are phenomenal and much prefered than nfr without bridges but i guess that's just how jackoff writes I guess that's fair. Most songs from Melodrama and Masseduction don't have bridges as well, but if I remember correctly every single song he has done with Taylor have bridges. In other words: bring Papa Nowells back so I can have my bridges, thank you. 3 into your eyes my face remains
ilovetati Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 There is nothing rock and roll about this record Lmao, sweetie. I’ll quote this when the reviews come out and half of the tracks being psych rock or psych folk are referenced. 2
Obduration Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 it doesn't, but honestly some of lana's songs would be extremely underwhelming without them IT'S FUCKIN HOT HOT WINTER IN THE CITY Y’all also gonna say NFR sounds like demos when the bridge of heroin exists... omg
Valerie Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Lmao, sweetie. I’ll quote this when the reviews come out and half of the tracks being psych rock or psych folk are referenced. Rock and roll =/= rock. Try again 4
love deluxe Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 There is nothing rock and roll about this record its heavily influenced by psychedelic rock and soft rock of the 60s and 70s like carole king and venice bitch and the greatest in particular are VERY rock influenced 4
Cacciatore Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Imagine thinking a bridge is what makes a good song!!! Can’t relate! Having a bridge is no requirement for a good song, but Lana usually writes amazing bridges so that will be missed. 7 into your eyes my face remains
Valerie Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 its heavily influenced by psychedelic rock and soft rock of the 60s and 70s like carole king and venice bitch and the greatest in particular are VERY rock influenced I said, and quoted Lana singing, "Rock and roll" Not rock
