ParadiseFreak 676 Posted September 30, 2018 Ride is one of my all-time favorite songs of Lana's, and it's her only song produced by Rick Rubin. I've never seen Lana or Rick talk much about the experience. Does anyone here know more about their session(s)? Could anyone point me to a resource with more info? So curious if they recorded more. Or if he had been approached to produce all of Paradise, but maybe the working relationship wasn't good? Would love anyone to point me to interviews, articles etc that explore this. I'm a pretty deep fan, and think I've read most of the interviews out there, but this subject is still such a mystery to me.

ParadiseFreak 676 Posted October 1, 2018 @ They have one important detail wrong though: "For the EP, Del Rey worked with three main producers; Justin Parker, Rick Nowels, & Rick Rubin, all of whom had previously worked with her on Born to Die." http://lanadelrey.wikia.com/wiki/Paradise_(EP) She hadn't worked with Rick on BTD, or anything before or since, "Ride," as they show on their page specifically for Rick Rubin. http://lanadelrey.wikia.com/wiki/Rick_Rubin
