I believe she’s singing it but the back vocals completely take over. At least, that’s how it was when I saw her in June.

besides the heavy use of backing tracks and the mess of ottr (again), is anyone else annoyed that she doesn't sing the bridge of ride anymore? it's a new level of laziness - if she doesn't think she sounds good doing it live, maybe try to improve instead of scrapping it???

 

 

I hate that she removed the Ride bridge. It's one of the most beautiful parts of the song.

Technically, it's a part of the medley with Change, Black Beauty, and Young & Beautiful, and she stops those before the bridges as well. She also cuts Summertime Sadness before the bridge, but I remember her posting an instagram video months ago with her team as they discussed doing a shorter version of the song because it was "about time to"

She has been better about Off to the Races though lately, she now is singing the entire bridge of it for the first time in awhile, she usually would skip the entire first half of it. She's also singing more of the chorus rather than skipping every other line. She said at one of the recent shows that it's one of her favourites, so I think she's encouraged herself to sing more of it x

 

I do believe she likes the song but she certainly doesn't try. I watched the performance of the song in this show, she skipped a prechorus and half of the chorus where the prerecorded vocals cover her up (started singing from the ''because I'm crazy'' part). It's one of my favourite songs too, but if she wants to do it live she has to make a better effort.
