You made it sound as if it’s something negative, but it really just is a testament to how great of an artist she is, no matter how demented her career’s become lol

Her debut album is strong enough to set her apart from most of debut only artists, I think.

bc her debut album is one of the most critically acclaimed of the past decade, has been in numerous decade-end lists, and has gained a cult following that stayed invested thorought all these years. aside from that, she also keeps teasing a second album, while most debut only artists just release the album and fall off the face of the earth

Because debut albums especially by pop leaning artists like sky(though she has a lot of rock in her music too) are usually quite sh*t- night time my time hasn’t aged amazingly compared to ghost EP but it was good enough.

She once posted a teaser for something with Heavy Metal Heart playing (I think it was some black and white footage while she was whipping her hair/head banging), but it seems like this has been erased from the internet.

 

From what I gathered, it was supposed to be a Live performance recorded for MTV by Grant Singer (i think). And then nothing was released.

 

Love In Stereo was a music video (I had no idea it was by Collin) shot on tape/VHS and something went wrong with the footage/it was lost.

what makes this funniest to me is that if this album exists and comes out, regardless of how good or bad it is, it'll be career suicide. that she's so elusive (possibly a compulsive liar, possibly a drug addict, possibly in an abusive relationship with her label; you name it, we've seen it) is what little she has to call a career. she's so in over her head you can't help but watch in fascinated horror when something new comes out about how silenced she is

that said i do think this is fun and a kind of remnant of early 2010s pop music conversation to be having so as an appreciator of trash, i'm VERY entertained
