Each one sort of sounds the same but it's not good enough to label them as "cohesive". Plus every time she tried being "deep/symbolic", I can't take her seriously. Witness and Roulette are the two worthy songs apart from the 3 singles. I pretty much skipped everything else so I could listen to The Click by AJR. The tracks produced by Purity Ring are also top 5 My holy trinity would probably be Chained To The Rhythm - Bon Appétit - Swish Swish :/ I loved the singles but I'm a bit disappointed after hearing the rest of the songs P.S. Pink Champagne Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Ok I'll have to locate the bonus tracks but I've listened to it in full twice. It's ok, many songs aren't memorable sadly. In general, the lyrics are really lacking to me. I was left wanting more from most of the songs, like they had potential but the lyrics made them fall flat. I wanted to like many of them because of the beat but I couldn't get past the lyrics. I like Roulette, Tsunami, Bon Appetit, Chained to the Rhythm, and Witness. Power, Deja Vu, and Save as Draft are ok. Deja Vu gives me Marina and the Diamonds vibes but I don't know why. I only like Nicki's part in Swish Swish. I hate Mind Maze and Into me you see. Pendulum, bigger than me, and Miss you more are ok but are forgettable, and again the lyrics are lacking. I was out of town on the 8th and got home just a few minutes before midnight so I thought, "Oh, KP's album will be out in a few minutes, i should stay up and listen! I might as well!" The more I listen to it, the more i like it, but it doesn't reach me the way PRISM did. There are some great tracks, though. The lifestream is super cool, I think. The therapy session was really hard to watch but i appreciate her trying to be as honest as possible. 2 Quote
