comeintomybedroom Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 So I'm the only one who likes Outta Time? Only one I don't really dig is Trouble. I think Outta Time's one of my favorites idk 0 Quote
Baby V Alex Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 A good interview http://www.glamour.com/entertainment/blogs/obsessed/2013/09/natalia-kills.html plus a question Controversy from the album is different form the video one right? Like it's mixed different 0 Quote
comeintomybedroom Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Controversy from the album is different form the video one right? Like it's mixed diferrent All I noticed was the beginning and the ending seem more polished. 0 Quote
Sitar Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 The intro with Television bothers me a lot. I think that intro section would sound a lot better on Controversy (because I'm attached to it as the first song). 1 Quote

Rebel Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Where's the intro from Controversy from? 0 Quote
Coney Island King Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 The new album is really terrible. A few good songs here and there [stop Me, Saturday Night, Problem, Controversy], but the rest is hookless, dull and completely uninspired. Perfectionist was much stronger. I do wonder how she manages to keep her record deal with her singles/albums doing so little pretty much everywhere. 1 Quote

Maybe it's difficult for you to identify with it lyrically or thematically 2 Quote
Coney Island King Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Or maybe it's just boring and poorly produced. 0 Quote
drewby Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Or maybe it's just boring and poorly produced. It's not poorly produced at all. I like all tracks across both albums, but Perfectionist was honestly overproduced 3 Quote
Coney Island King Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Well clearly we don't agree so there's no point going in circles. If you like the album great, i think it's shit. The reaction from a lot of people who have heard it online has been lukewarm at best, so clearly she's done something wrong with it. 0 Quote
drewby Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 No point in going in circles so let's reiterate a point anyways... Logical fallacies galore 1 Quote
HeadBitch Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Saturday Night just might be the best single released during 2013, not just a highlight of her career. 1 Quote
flashpapr Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Got 6 tracks in and couldn't stand it any longer, man that overused Hall & Oates sample is cringe worthy... I don't know how I made it through that track alive. People need to seriously stop sampling "Rich Girl", seems like every week there's another artist sampling it. Anyway, found the album very dull and generic to the point of frustration. 1 Quote
National Anthem Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Can someone PLEASE PM me the highest quality we have of "Feel Myself"? Preferably to Dropbox? 0 Quote

flashpapr Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 it's the first song I've heard in a loooooong time that's sampled it so I don't know what you're talking about Hmm.. seems like every time I'm around a radio a song comes on sampling it... just in a quick google search I found ten songs that have sampled it all post 2000 and it doesn't even list Natalia Kills, so who knows how many others there are... it's madness! 0 Quote
