It’s kind of crazy how 1989 is the best re-recording but gets called the worst just because of Style  Out of the Woods, All You Had to Do Was Stay, Bad Blood, and This Love are all improvements on the original and tbh the rest all sound pretty much the exact same. The vault tracks are all at least a 4/5 too. Now That We Don’t Talk, Slut!, and Is it Over Now are all highlights even considering the main album.

Down Bad has been the biggest grower for me. I did not get that song when it first came out but now I’m obsessed with it. The Eras performance really helped

New Romantics tv is awful too tho.

 

edit: not to mention the fact she had Christopher Rowe, a country rock producer produce most of the tracks on 1989 tv… it’s giving lazy.

I was never that disappointed in Taylor’s Versions until I heard the new version of All You Had to Do Was Stay…

I haven’t listened to the Red TV in a bit - But I recall 22, Red & We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together sounding off.

in Shake It Off, It’s quite minor & trying to replicate samples is very hard I know - But in the background of one of the verses it sounds Dark. like I don’t know how to describe it,” But like picture the shining, lions & people shouting. “ anyway it isn’t in the TV and that made me sad…

All You Had to Do Was Stay TV is so good wtf😭😭 I think Red is her worst recording, she actually butchered so many tracks on there. All Too Well, Holy Ground, and WANEGBT, are some of the only songs I will go out of my way to listen to the originals. I will say Sad Beautiful Tragic and Red (track) were major improvements for me. There are a few BANGER vault tracks (Better Man, ATW 10) but also a lot of flops (Run, Forever Winter, Message in a Bottle). 1989 is much more consistent and I do agree with whoever said New Romantics TV is kind of a flop but honestly after 3-4 listens I couldn’t tell the difference. The vault tracks are really what puts 1989tv to the top for me. Fearless TV would probably be her best Taylor’s Version if we are just basing it on OG albums. 
 

Edit: Also Wonderland TV is 20x better than the OG.
