drewby 9,249 Posted April 30, 2014 Alright childrens, how many of you will be seeing Lana in the beautiful Tabernacle adjacent to the Philips Arena? Will you be queuing all day despite the inclement weather? Will she cover "Georgia On My Mind"? Will she come onstage and have a wet t-shirt contest? Let;s discuss all that and more! (ps. save me a spot at the front of the queue and I'll buy you a Paradise poster from the merch stand) OP TO BE UPDATED WITH SETLIST/PICTURES/FAN EXPERIENCES

freeabortions 0 Posted April 30, 2014 We're lining up at 10 am. Got a hotel super close to the venue just in case, like...this shit is serious. It's like preparing for child birth we are meticulous
buster 152 Posted April 30, 2014 I assure you that people who are lined up at 9am will keep "obnoxious bitches" at bay. I have seen three shows already and been in the front row for each of them. Not because I got there an hour before doors opened but because I got up and waited in line. Had about 8 to 10 people try to bust their way in front of and around me and each time they failed. Sorry about your finals but be prepared to encounter people ready to box for their spot in the front if they waited out all day. It happens.

Someone volunteered to save me a spot, but rest assured if it falls through I'll be barreling my way to the front when doors open.
buster 152 Posted April 30, 2014 Have fun! You won't be disappointed! It is so fantastic to see Lana in the U.S. after a long tour in other countries. I saw her in NYC in June 2012 and she has really gotten so much more comfortable on stage. Amazing show! HAVE FUN!!!!! I saw the venue you guys are going to...it is so small which is perfect!!!

buster 152 Posted May 2, 2014 would've posted sooner but got pulled over for speeding on the way home, just a quick pic before I sort through the rest BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing! I tried to share pics from the Dallas and Nola shows and it told me the file was too big. Then I resized it and it was still too big. How did you get yours to upload? It looks like a pretty good size too.

I just copied the URL from Facebook when I uploaded it Also I put the setlist on setlist.fm http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lana-del-rey/2014/tabernacle-atlanta-ga-1bc31d08.html I think she switched the placement of Million Dollar Man and SS in this show
greymillenium 542 Posted May 3, 2014 this show was amazing! the crowd was insane. I saw a girl pass out and this guy get pulled out of the concert for being too rowdy. I got into an argument with high school girls. Lana's beauty took my breathe away for a moment when I finally got a good view of her during the concert. I wasn't a fan of the arrangement for Young and Beautiful, but all the other concert arrangements of the songs worked for me. I saw Lana's dad taking pics off the crowd during National Anthem from the side of the stage. Lana says that the video for West Coast will be out "soon"

We were MAYBE 3rd row and my bf and i were pretty much pancaked between this guy in front of us. I was so shocked, I'm way too old for that.
kagarcia 3 Posted July 21, 2014 Yeah, this show was insane. We got in line around noon and had a decent spot in the pit. But everyone in line in front of us and behind us were 12, it was their first concert, and they had no idea how concert etiquette worked (I'm not exaggerating, we talked to them). They kept leaving the line with no one to hold their spot to run to the barricade by her tour bus and expected us to watch their stuff without ever asking anyone. At one point, the line had to shift forward because the back of the line was blocking traffic and the group wasn't there so we had to stand around their stuff and they were very upset when they returned to the line to find these scary 22 year olds standing around their things. Then we got inside and the only way I can describe the crowd was similar to what I would imagine a Justin Bieber concert combined with a One Direction concert must feel like. Like I said, I'm 22 and I work in music business so this was by no means my first concert, but it was hands down the craziest concert I have ever been to. Not only did people who had waited a long time, but not nearly as long as the people who got up front to the barricade, think they were entitled to be in the front, but they were going to push as hard as possible to get there. A mother and her daughter were standing behind me and during one crowd swell, the mother falcon-gripped onto my arm and I came away from the concert with numerous bruises on my arms and legs. Every time Lana would come down to the barricade, the crowd would swell forward - if someone had fallen, they literally would have been trampled to death. Another thing that contributed to the craziness was that the Tabernacle is not strict in enforcing their ticketing policies. By that I mean a lot of people purchased balcony seats and just went into the pit which caused the pit to be incredibly overcrowded and the balcony to be basically for parents who brought their children. (Also, I just imagined all of them listening to the lyrics of "Cola" when she opened with it and dying as their twelve year old daughters shrieked along my pussy tastes like pepsi cola...) However, the show itself was fantastic. The crowd seemed to calm down a little so I could at least enjoy myself. But I'm also 5'8 so I could see the entire time and I didn't have to worry about someone roughing me up too badly. After the show, we waited at the barricade by her tour bus and had the opportunity to meet her. Literally the highlight of the night. She was so kind, we chatted for a little and got a picture with her. We even talked to Rob about his day at the aquarium. TL;DR: Great show, terrible crowd.
