Yeah i've never understood people who say she isn't an album artist, i mean, with all her shortcomings, she still has well produced pop songs [for the most part] and has definitely put together some cohesive albums. In The Zone, Femme, Blackout are all very strong from an album consistency point of view.

 

Other stuff like Circus and Britney have a lot of good stuff on them, but have a few duds too.

 

Her track record is pretty good album wise, at least in the second half of her career.
