For me, there is absolutely no excuse for Melanie to go from the lyrics of songs like A Million Men or Rocking Horse to songs like Nymphology or High School Sweethearts ?

idk like portals is okay but i feel like she would thrive more if she made less songs connected to the crybaby story

i wouldve enjoyed portals if the horrible vocal effects and some of the instrumental effects too were removed

its my favourite concept out of all 3 albums and has such missed potential

i wanted to like portals, i kinda stopped being a mel stan in 2020 and tried to come back when portals came out but it didn’t do it for me sadly 

also i can’t believe it’s 5 years since k-12 came out! 2019 feels like yesterday

i wanted to go to that tour so bad it was in my city but i didn’t wanna ask anyone in my family to buy me tickets so i just didn’t go which i now regret #fumbled

Its been a while since I last streamed Portals entirely. Tbh I only go back to the Deluxe trio which imo can carry that album easily on their back. I do like the messy storyline a bit and we have some gems on the standard album too tho
