In two words, "schoolgirl lesbians". It's from 1998, but it's like the only LGBT film I know that isn't, like, heartbreaking.

I'm gonna link y'all the original Swedish trailer too, even though it's not subbed -- because it conveys the #mood like a million times better, and besides, the English voice-over is all kinds of cheese...

 

(its accolades include slaying titanic in swedish cinemas that year, and basically bein' the OG coming-of-age film in sweden that literally every other coming-of-age film since has copied one-to-one )
