All of this is very off topic, but ik Lana isn't crazy about the whole idea of feminism, but I think just the way she goes about her career and life makes her an empowering woman to look up to.

She makes her music mostly by herself, she directs most of her videos, she rocks the charts, she's single, she doesn't care what people think, and she's just an icon to look up to

She got into the women's march and everything too.

 

But her lyrics don't scream independent most of the time and that's fine. The "I cant live without you" and "I need you so much" kind of lyrics I mean. and it's fine because not everyone has to be obligated to be a feminist. Some of you really need to learn that

But I think 'kids' is only something we can call ourselves. No other fandom will want to refer to us as 'kids' because they won't know what we're talking about. It's just something she uses in her Instagram captions
