Stay safe out there, y'all. While it is significantly higher to be spread through sex, monkeypox is not a sexually transmitted disease that certain homophobes are trying to pin solely on gay men. It is spread through direct physical contact, whether on surfaces or person to person. Sanitize and wash your hands often. Symptoms include rashes, itching, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and blisters.

Because for both, the first official cases were gay men. It’s of course very idiotic to think that “we” generated it or that straight people are immune to them.

Sweden confirmed its first case of a new, more serious variant of Monkeypox (called now as Mpox). I hope it doesn't get as bad and huge as Covid did and I also hope that the patient gets better soon!
