Re-recording ≠ bad or not perfect. 4 Quote

Re-recording ≠ bad or not perfect. I'm aware and dw! For example with a song like Pawn Shop the main appeal imo is her delivery and the kitchy production and while i do appreciate the Paradise version of Yayo, it doesn't really do the original justice. 5 Quote

I'm pretty sure TNBAR was always gonna sound like that if it was on LFL . And while I agree not every song needs a rerecording, i think everyone needs to accept if she's gonna put pawn shop blues on trpws or even release aka in its entirety I would expect a rework or rerecord for those. motel six Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM i don’t think i’m even against re-releases because of any reason other than (selfishly) i feel like they’re so special when you have to find other means of listening to them, idk, it’s more personal. obviously it’s not down to me though and lana can release whatever she wants and many AKA songs would be beautiful and well deserving on this record 4 Quote $$$ HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL $$$

Bonita Posted Thursday at 08:08 PM Posted Thursday at 08:08 PM Anyways now that Henry is finally out I wanna speculate about the album So it's evident that Henry has been reproduced significantly compared to the snippet we heard last January (thanks to Drew Erickson's additional production) and i think i can ascertain why. We all know that Lana grew hesitant to release the album after a few country releases from other artists were announced around the time she first mentioned "Lasso". And if anything she's aware about some backlash regarding her more stripped down songs (See: Kintsugi lyric where she goes "Just another folk song..."). I think by the time she announced the current title around November, the additional production from Drew was already completed and I think this is her take on the country genre: Fusing her baroque stylings and approaching more grander production on top of the acoustics to achieve whatever sound she's going for (Yes I know we're one song in but let's just go with this for now). It could be in line with her definition of country (When she gave Video Games and Ride as examples). I think she found her footing and it's why we're approaching the release now and I hope i'm right because honestly I already centered my expectations on something more stripped down but hearing Henry now has me even more excited for whatever this album may sound like! Here's to hoping that song she debuted in Boston will make it or we could get some southern gothic. Also BoZ said to expect some country on this record and yeah I can't wait Also: did anyone catch that we're getting into the thematics of "The Right Person Will Stay" from the lyrics of Henry like "Some people come and they're gone / They just fly away" I love it when she does that on her albums 15 Quote
