Wilshire Blvd is a very glamorous road while Pico Blvd is much sparser and leads to run-down parts of the city. Interesting. I didn't know about the significance of those places. So, "the blues" hints at the glamorous (artsy) life on Wilshire Blvd. and "the news" alludes to the shady activities on Pico Blvd? 4 Quote
