Neptune-Avenue Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 i really want to hear "where do babies come from" the snippet sounded so good 3 Quote Ciggeretes and RoboTusin will i ever get to Heaven
luckyonewithoutyou Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 She performed cake 20 million times already. Why would you want another one? Just asking. You can barely hear her in many live videos 0 Quote
FrankNotOcean Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 It's such a waste When little girls grow into their mothers face But little girls are learning how to cut and paste And pucker up their lips until they suffocate I don't have anything against Kylie or any of the Kardashians but when I hear these lines that's all that comes to mind. 10 Quote First we feel; then we fall.
American Money Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 According to hits daily double she should 29,230 copies in the first week, and over 35,00 SPS! Good for her, I was expecting like 22-25k 1 Quote Nothing scares me anymore.
National Anthem Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Unpopular opinion: "Cake" is the best new song on the album. The best three songs overall are "Soap", "Carousel", & "Cake". 1 Quote

mermaid12 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Cake, Carousel, Soap, Mad Hatter, Tag You're It,and Milk and Cookies for me!!! 1 Quote
luckyonewithoutyou Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Love every song but Milk and Cookies, I understand it's supposed to follow up with Tag, You're it, but it ends up sound like a filler song to me 3 Quote
National Anthem Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 For now I also think the title track is the worst. 0 Quote
SarcasticBeauty Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 For now I also think the title track is the worst. I think Carousel is the worse. But I think Cry Baby lacks the emotion that the live version gives. 0 Quote
Atom Heart Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I think Carousel is the worse. But I think Cry Baby lacks the emotion that the live version gives.Cry Baby is a grower song but Mad Hatter is still so flat and doesn't fit the ending of the first cry baby book whatsoever. If she ended it with Tag, You're It or even Milk and Cookies it would've been fine. 3 Quote
drewby Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Cry Baby and Sippy Cup are my two least favorite tracks. The latter because the chorus is fucking terrible in contrast to the verses 1 Quote
comeintomybedroom Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I think Dollhouse is better than Carousel. I think Cake doesn't fit well with the album theme very well since it's not very "childish" at all, if i'm just pussy to you then you're just dick to me, but whatever. Milk and Cookies is the most forgettable to me, except the lines "sing you a lullaby where you die at the end", it's always in my head. Hate to be basic, but I fucking love Pacify Her. This album gets played more than Froot did when it first came out tbh. I love this album. 3 Quote
HoneymoonBaby Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 What's the hate with Carousel?? While I do think it doesn't fit the album's theme, it still has more redeemable qualities than Pacify Her which is by far the worst in the album for being too catty and mean-spirited just because the narrator hates the girl for allegedly stealing her "boyfriend". 0 Quote
Anthem Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Y'all saying you don't like the studio versions because the live is better If the studio versions were better people would complain she can't sing live. Poor girl can't win. 1 Quote Goddesses don't speak in whispers. They scream.

Poor girl can't win. Its not even really her singing, its like, the emotion she puts into singing the songs live that is missing from the studio versions that ppl are complaining about 6 Quote

Poor girl can't win.If the studio song was more emotive then it would match up a little more to the strength she adds to the character for the album. Although Dollhouse created the concept, I think she could've just explained that Sippy Cup was the sequel without hearing Dollhouse again (it would've been better if they changed it a little bit for the album). 1 Quote
Atom Heart Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I HATE DOLLHOUSEIt just sounds way too dense for the album's instrumentation, right? 1 Quote
