Legit though why would Lana get deep into it? I'm certain she's not interested in what's happening in the news, etc. but she can never say that. It'd be a whole "Lana doesn't like feminism" situation.

 

 

i think she just wanted not to be misinterpreted by the media like the "i wish i was dead" and feminism things.

 

BTD her debut album is already a political statement of how she comments on the contemporary american cultures and ideologies.
