Big Fat Bass has aged like WINE... I don't remember loving this one so much omg. I'm revisiting Femme Fatale today. I've been working my way through one album a day this week while cleaning up the house, starting with my favorites. Femme Fatale has aged really well in my opinion. I actually think I'm liking it more than I did upon release. All of my faves are still immaculate but I was sleeping on a few of the ones I never listened to that much.. Trouble for Me is still trash but that's actually it.

i went back and listened again because this post really got on my nerves for some reason… there’s at LEAST a good 30 seconds of the song throughout the full trailer if you actually listened. like why be annoying when someone is just showing excitement?

i was honestly annoyed that Monet won over her because while they’re both hilarious & talented, Mo actually serves on the runway while Monet wears… whatever i love seeing charli in videos like this. it was cute promo & she has such a good energy.

nah songs like that don’t get enough appreciation - ones with the same repeated melody throughout like gaga’s title track ARTPOP is produced similarly. I think the additional touches to the second verse into the more bass / drum / synth heavy final chorus in Every Rule definitely take it somewhere in the final half. At least with my nice headphones the bass and synth and drums all build really powerfully. Idk how ppl can say it goes nowhere… i mean all Lucky does is up the pitch of her chimpmunk vocalizing at the end of the song and I guess that’s just everything for y’all but i’m over here fawning over the intricate details of the production on Every Rule.. i mean listen to the instrumental it definitely goes somewhere / has a beginning + middle + end
