    I haven’t posted about it yet but honestly Move Me is the heart and soul of Crash if you think about it… The vocal sample used throughout the album (crash, constant repeat) of her saying “hold my body down” and “hold my body tight” is from the chorus of Move Me. such a BEAUTIFULLY produced song too really fits that luxurious vibe charli mentioned in that interview. :yesnod:
     

    anne if u love the best melodies check out Babygirl aka my favorite song in the world forever. Die 4. Good girls. Basically most of XCX World and all of Number 1 Angel have the best melodies. Love that you love Every Rule it’s probably my favorite from crash and is super under-appreciated ♥️

    i noticed it too like significantly noticed it BUT like you said - not in a bad way at all!! I actually think she looks better with a little bit of age on her face. She has a very mature, old-school-elegance type bone structure that was really shining in the Met pics.

    I am so glad I don’t stan her. NTMT is a much easier listen if you pretend she released it in the 80s & she died or quit music lmao… genuinely don’t understand how an artist with social media accounts in this day & age is comfortable not speaking to their fans at all & letting their career become a sad meme. :rip: leak the whole album at this point she doesn’t even care about the single.

    edit: i do understand why you would say it goes nowhere cause it doesn't have a huge chorus release but still...


    I haaaate the liquid lyrics, the delivery of the “sexy” lyrics in this song does not work at all for me lol, i hate the therapist lyrics.. just a very unpleasant listen :rip: 

    the lyrics are all over the place and almost sound like they belong to a different beat.

    i finally understand is top 5 worst released charli songs lol… the song goes NOWHERE the entire time. clunky lyrics that don’t fit the beat very well. her vocals stay the same octave/ key / whatever the whole time. RUBBISH DAHHHLINGGG. :true:

     

    CLAWS on the other hand.. that’s THE bop of the album. It’s super fun to sing along to.. and honestly gives me True Romance vibes despite being an obvious “hyperpop” track.

    Big Fat Bass has aged like WINE... I don't remember loving this one so much omg. I'm revisiting Femme Fatale today. I've been working my way through one album a day this week while cleaning up the house, starting with my favorites. Femme Fatale has aged really well in my opinion. I actually think I'm liking it more than I did upon release. All of my faves are still immaculate but I was sleeping on a few of the ones I never listened to that much.. Trouble for Me is still trash but that's actually it. :umadney:
