nah i’m 99.9% sure it was l4l that was allegedly titled best american record or whatever, just because it was originally called architecture doesn’t mean she could use it’s lyrics for the album title (i mean, she originally titled bb rock candy sweet, which were lyrics of loved u then and now sooo)

I'm 100% positive I'm correct. The song leaked before the video for White Mustang came out cos that video was filmed for BAR but she changed it last minute to WM. I assume that it would've served as the lead for the next album had she went with BAR. I'll try to find the correct thread I saw the info on. But it's on fotp.

I thought Best American Record was the og name for LFL?

No. The song BAR was originally titled Architecture during the L4L sessions but left it and Yosemite off L4L. Architecture leaked before we got an announcement for the next album (shortly after L4L actually) then titled Best American Record, later changed to NFR. She then reworked and rewrote Architecture as The Next Best American Record for NFR. (I prefer Architecture over TNBAR)

I don’t wanna double post but I gave a short argument on why it’s the perfect song to be the title track on page 1419. Basically, the song portrays the pain, the sadness, the doubt, how hard it is to let go, and ultimately the healing thanks to the support of her friends and relatives. These are all the themes that will most likely be explored in the album. Her talking about her friends and family in her music is the logical continuation of Chemtrails, and there’s an emphasis on how much they help her to rebuild herself, changing the colour of her world after it being blue for so many years. It’s one of the most important tracks she’s ever released lyrically, like hope is a dangerous thing. That’s also why I personally believe that BB will be the last song on the album, but we’ll see when Lana reveals the tracklist.

Tbh id like to see BB the opener ?

I don’t mind that it’s not the title cause that means we get that iconic blue banisters album cover and not some changed mess

But honestly regardless of it it was BB/Arcadia/RCS they all would have been her weakest album title. None of them are really that interesting as titles to me

Remember when she said NFR was Best American Record? That should've stayed as the title but NFR grew on me as a title a lot

Honestly, I've never really paid much attention to Halsey. But with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross at the helm for this new album, I am definitely intrigued. I listened to the snippet of I am not a woman I'm a God and I'm loving what I'm hearing. I will definitely be checking out her album when it drops. I love everything Trent Reznor does and I'd give anything for him to work with Lana at some point. If any of you longtime Halsey fans have any recommendations on which songs of hers I should check out, please let me know! I definitely favor the 90s industrial Electronica sound and I definitely like what I'm hearing so far from her upcoming release!  I imagine she will attract a lot of new listeners now that Trent is involved.

My top 10 Halsey songs would be

    Nightmare - 2019 single

Experiment on Me - 2020 Soundtrack

    Still Learning - 2020

    Control - 2015

    Alone - 2017

    Ghost - 2015

    Eyes Closed - 2017

    Without You - 2020

You Should be Sad - 2020

    Sorry - 2017

I want bops, not forced songs for a movie.

I think the movie comes after the music and then she goes to fine tune it to go hand in hand. K-12 was in writing and recording since 2016. I for one want the film just as much as the album. Let's not forget that Halsey is doing a film too, it's being screened in IMAX theatres.

Not the weird styling in the titles again :eyeroll2: well, at least it's not as severe as in Manic.

For sure The Tradition is an intro. Lilith, Whispers, The Lighthouse and Easier Than Lying sound very interesting! Can't wait to listen to them :flutter: which I was not expecting to say about a Halsey album anymore :bebe:

I think it's just cos she wasn't worried about tapping the caps/shift button on her keyboard :bebe:

‘sHe DoSn’t OwE Us aNythiNg wah wan wah’ same old bullshit I keep hearing on here and it’s tiring…Yes she does owe her fans, she owes them respect and to keep screwing us around is disrespect. It’s fine that she does not know a release date and is undecided on album titles, but to pretend like she knows, even let release dates roll by with no info is just rude and unprofessional.  You know what other artists do? They keep their mouth shut until they know a date and everything has a green light.   I think Lana owes us everything we’ve supported her all these years, her fan base has given her this success because the general public abandoned her after summertime sadness.  Otherwise she’d still be in dive bars and writing poetry nobody will ever read or hear.  I don’t think we ask for much, a little engagement a little transparency and clear communication. I appreciate not everyone finds music release a big deal, maybe it isn’t that deep no…but if you think about it it’s not that deep or hard for Lana to be more clear and respectful either.

Then why dont you become a musician. Then you can give your fans all the correct and timely dates as you'd like ?

Yes!!! You can help keep Win Edwards distracted while he’s digging through Lana’s trash when we sneak past the front gate!!!

Just don't let him take the used panties. Tell him to get whatever discarded music related items and run :creep:

You're very right to ask, my premade answer was that it's my day to day job (I'm a type and graphic designer), so I want people to know I can do "serious" stuff and not just fanart, but actually it's all I truly love to do and I wouldn't mind being paid for it for the rest of my life. So idk why I said that. And the proof is that I'm still doing fanart :)

I'm working on something fun rn for example, more to come

It just seemed off or out of place while being on a Lana forum?

I'd like to see what the finished product is ?

This year a documentary on this came out, Welcome to Chechnya. It depicts how activists literally helped evacuate guys from the region. I think it was on yt but it is only on hbo now. I could not even finish watching, too heavy. But shit is as real as ever, unfortunately

Omg I need to find that. I did a mini report back in 2018 for a history class current event assignment.
