    Everyone has their opinions guys...... To that person... and me.... she's not very good.

     

    I'm literally listening to my Art Angels CD while reading this. I think she's amazing and especially considering she writes, produces and records all the songs herself as well as designing the cover arts and self-directing many of her music videos, I think she's a pretty spectacular woman. Even Lana acknowledged her talent on her Instagram by posting about her back when she was touring with her on the Endless Summer tour. And let's be real, it's not very often Lana posts about people, and I doubt she would have posted it or even let her come on tour with her if she didn't think she was good. So even if you don't like Grimes' music, you have to at least acknowledge that she is very talented and does it all on her own which is so rare.

     

    But yes, I do agree that Lana shouldn't produce herself, that'd be a total mess  :toofunny:

    I honestly think that she sort of does this on purpose though, like after all the criticisms from BTD about how fake/plastic/artificial she supposedly was, and how "she only became popular because of her rich daddy" and so on, she wanted to change that image because she knows it's so far removed from who she actually is. And considering how down to earth she really is, I'm assuming those comments would have upset her so she's just trying hard not to get into trouble now. Honestly it's one of my fave things about her though, she's so genuine and even though she's a big celebrity and rich af she doesn't think she's better than anyone else. At the heart of it all, she's still just loveable little Lizzy even under all that fame and money, power, glory.

    Okay but why does Change Your Mind remind me of the West Coast radio edit? 

     

    The guitar chords in the verses sounds a bit similar. But overall I don't think they sound much alike at all, what kind of random comparison lmao  :P And maybe because they both have Spanish influence? 

    Anyway both are great songs  :flutter:

    Such a great album. Make Me, Man on the Moon, Do You Wanna Come Over?, Change Your Mind and Love Me Down are my current faves.

    Still not a huge fan of Clumsy. It's nice but probably one of my least faves on the album though.

    Overall though I cannot get enough of these tracks. So many bops!!

    It's Britney bitch... Godney is back!!

    EDIT: hopefully no one saw but my autocorrect just changed Godney to Rodney  :toofunny: :rip:

    Lanz looks amazing here. Just hope she ain't recording HM pt II or I'm unstanning tbh

    (well, actually, let's be real, I will never unstan this queen but I'm probably gonna fall asleep if we get HM 2.0, I need something fresh and new and exciting. Don't get me wrong, HM was fucking amazing but I just don't want her to recycle the same kind of music. Just want something that sounds like nothing she's ever done before)

    No worries.

    Her voice can be a bit odd at the start and you might find the compositions a bit unusual but after a few listens her songs really grow on you and her eccentric voice becomes the best thing about her.

    Also listen to "Stonemilker", "Crying", "Play Dead", "Hidden Place", "Immature" & "It's Not Up to You". Those are some of my faves too and I fell in love with them immediately, so hopefully you will too! :)

    Could you all stop being so negative and mentioning her surgeries everytime pics like these get posted? It's enough, she looks different than she did 5 or 6 years ago, get over it already.

     

    The only reason I mentioned it is because it's really unhealthy to be constantly getting injections and fillers. As someone stated above, it could be quite serious, like body dysmorphia or something of the like.

    I really don't care that she looks different than she did a few years ago, it's just the fact that she is unnecessarily messing with her face, when she already looks beautiful the way she is.

    Every now and then I can understand but it's like every week at this point
