    Legit I've been like "who is Kim Petras?" and not hearing her verse at all on Unlock it by Charli since it came out, with that processing they sound almost exactly alike.

     

    But I heard IDWIAA today and holy crap, then I went on to Hillside Boys, Heart to Break, Hills, Faded, Slow it Down and WOW. This is that early 2000s bubblegum pop I have always wanted. Her working with Dr. Luke is very :defeated: and makes me not officially want to stan her, which is a damn shame, and I hope she gets away from him eventually. Still, these songs are cohesive, but different sonically, lyrically "okay" and her vocals are actually kind of powerful and good, much better than I expected. Hillside Boys gives me an early Fame era Gaga tea too, where her voice was still very high feminine but punchy. 

     

    Where can I hear "For Me"? Is that a leaked song or something?

    You know what, I'm gonna say it. The lack of respect for Starring Role in this thread is truly disturbing. Y'all throwing around all these other EH tracks as your faves, which are all great songs (excluding HTBAHB but since that song wasn't on the initial release I don't even fucking count it), but c'mon. Also Living Dead gets paid dust and I'm still upset it was cut from the US release of the album.

     

    Also also also... isn't it sad that because there's nothing going on in terms of MATD4 we've resorted to several pages of arguing over which of the 3 albums is best  :toofunny:

    Lmfao y’all bitches started being fans last year Huck and Charli are still friends and are on good terms. Huck was the one who introduced Charli to SOPHIE’s music the guy who triggered her to make depressing party music was Mike Kerr (from Royal Blood) = : Birthday cake in August
