    In the livestream when she said the music video is in the top 2, what's the other?

     

    I guess SOC (just going from the post she made about it being her favourite video although I think it could be

     

    Ride,

    Tropico,

    Video Games (just because its such a classic?),

    SOC

     

    At the moment I am leaning towards Ride bc I interpreted this as in the top 2 from our perspective and most people since to have Ride as their favourite video?

    MY WIFI CUT OUT THE LAST 24 HOURS AND IVE READ LIKE 150 PAGES TO CATCH UP ON EVERYTHING

     

     

    Also I know there is a lot of hate going round at the moment on the fanbase but I think this has actually shown Lana how supportive her fanbase is, it's overwhelming for me to see how many fans have reached out to her, I can't imagine what it must be like for her...

    It seems that AKA, BTD, PD, and UV all have colours on the same colour scale, whereas HM has more colours which are completely different.

     

    I'm thinking maybe this could be a reason why HM might not be liked as much as the other albums? Not as much of a clear cut aesthetic? 

     

    When I think of HM, I think of a broad range of colours which I couldn't really categorise into one colour or one colour scale (pastels mainly: yellows, greens, blues, pinks, purples), but the other albums I all see on one colour scale e.g. AKA= cream -> olive, UV= grey -> black. 

     

    It seems HM is viewed quite differently between people whereas other albums all give a similar feel.

    Okay so I made a previous thread asking you guys to make a fanmade album cover for LDR5, so now I want to see what you

    come up with for Lana's single 'Young and in Love. I feel like since we have a legit name, it'll be easier to interpret an aesthetic/vibe.

    This isn't a competition, purely just for fun. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

    My own picture is below. I've mentioned on a few threads that I think the single will be 70's vibe, hence the font, daisies and grain effect. :)

    Does anyone think her new album will feature a collab?

     

    I think she should do a collab with:

     

    1. Father John Misty

    2. Hope Sandoval (from Mazzy Star)

    3. Elizabeth Fraser (of Cocteau Twins)

    4. Marina and the Diamonds (c'mon, were ALL dying for this)

    5. Bob Dylan

    6. Alice Cooper

     

     

    I would DIE if she did a collar with Marina. I have actually imagined this so much, it would be perfect.

     

    I think it is unlikely, but a girl can dream!

    Tbh a part of me doesn't want LDR5 to be commercial and get radio play. I kinda like how Lana is a low key kinda pop artist...but I wouldn't be bothered if she got radio play either. Just mixed feelings. But yeah. I want the colours to be a faded blue and yellow colour, idk why. I actually saw a legit still from her new music video (I won't post it and please don't message me for it) but I don't think in this era she'll have blonde hair...sorry guys. But overall I definitely see a 70s vibe going on, I see flowers (like 60s/70s flower power movement thing). Key words that pop up in my mind are 'freedom land' 'daisies' (someone on here posted about how each album had a significant flower, I think a daisy will be for LDR5), 'girls', 'ice cream', 'drugs' etc. I'm getting a very summery vibe guys and I'm honestly so excited.

     

     

    As soon as you said about daisies being the symbol, it's actually just clicked for me. It has to be daises... 

     

    It really makes sense imo

    I don't think she will release anything soon... cause now that Katy Perry will release her new single, and maybe in a few months the new album, i think that all the media's attention will be towards her

     

     

    Although would Lana be interested in media attention? Hopefully since they are quite different markets her label won't stop her releasing new music at the same time as Katy Perry.... I hope....
