I bought the Deluxe Version 4 and the pics in it are cute, the poster too. I just think it's not really a summer record. I guess I will listen to this one a lot more in the fall and winter time. I also think the tracklist order doesn't work for me: I mostly skip 'I forgot that you existed' (should have been the last track) and start with 'Cruel Summer', but I believe it would have been quite interesting as well if this album would have started with 'Lover' itself. Not many albums seem to start with a slow song and I still remember how much I liked it that Miley's 'Bangerz' started with a ballad. All in all I especially love the lyrics and the jazzy sound on 'False God'. That one became my fav song from 'Lover'. And if you don't dance to 'Paper Rings' something's really wrong with you.

'California' is my fav track, followed by 'The next best American record'. Also love 'The greatest', 'Doin' time’ and 'MAC'. My least fav track is 'Cinnamon girl'. It's a great album though and she even put it on cassette! Can't complain.

Streaming the album on Spotify as iTunes Germany lets me down. ‚California‘ is the best track.

On iTunes Germany you can already listen to 1:30 samples of each song and I think ‚California‘ sounds freaking amazing! Has ‚Cruel World‘ vibes.

Since 'HAW' came out I have not read or watched any interviews with Avril. But yesterday I found the interview with Zach and loved it so much that I started to watch old and new stuff on YouTube. I think these 3 interviews are very inspiring: Plus: 'It was in me' will be her next single. Good choice though. Always have tears in my eyes when I listen to that one. Pretty excited to see some US tour vids from fans and hope she will come to Europe too.

„Lover“ will be another record-breaking album and will have another record-breaking tour! Her 3 singles are amazing and fun. As her fan I don‘t feel the need to get super deep lyrics for every album she releases. At one point in life enjoy the small things and just have fun and don‘t think too much. Simple lyrics or simple melodies? This album will be a blast anyway, it will be a worldwide #1.
