  1. @@leaked_version obviously everyone is an individual and theyre not all gonna value the same things, so to me, if i were an artist i would put minimal effort into radio play, i agree about the videos though but it honestly depends on the song (if you want  people to interpret the content themselves or you had a vision you wanted to share etc), singing is a bit wishy washy tho like i have really bad anxiety and i cant even present things in class so the setting i think would have to be intimate

idk this is so messy im sorry my thoughts are really disorganized lmao but i lanas music isnt really something thats made for radio, its more personal and one on one, and i think she wants it to stand for itself because shes already a quite established artist she doesnt need to do all that now because her content will already have a guaranteed audience (us) and if anyone else listens thats cool

i do wish her and chuck could give us more visual content tho, im sure theres tons of things that have been scrapped that we'd love anyways lmao

  2. who cares about promo like .. i think all lana wants to do is release her music so people can hear it and she can have some sort of release or closure or whatever, and the listeners can connect and value her art personally and be inspired etc... i dont care if she just drops an album every once in a while with no promoing, as fans we want her to do well, but i dont think that really matters to her. my thoughts are a mess rn but i think the main idea is that she doesnt need to promo because the right people will see it and listen anyways

  3. tbh honeymoon is one of my favorite albums of hers like ... i know that its a lot more boring than the rest but its almost trancy like everything is muted and ur in some 60s film like daisies and ur in love w some adult guy who is dangerous or something lmao , its only good if u listen to it really loud and ur tired but tbh freak is so dreamy its my fave...... the blackest day is def her best off the album tho

  4. I absolutely adore Zella..everything about her. She's someone I recommend to everyone I talk to. I've been a fan since late 2014 around when her EP was released and I've loved following her through her new music journey. Also, even if you're not a fan, please go to a show of hers if she ever goes near you. You won't regret it. After being upset that she wasn't coming near me for her tour, I was so excited that she was going to be playing at a music festival in my city, Music Midtown. She put on one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. She sounds absolutely incredible live and she was so energetic and lovable. She's so beautiful too. It was an overall amazing show, I wish I could see her again!

Also, afterwards, she wasn't supposed to be at the signing booth, but as I walked by the booth while walking to another stage I saw her name listen and bolted towards the line with my friends. She was mainly having short chats and signings with people, but we actually had a pretty lengthy conversation (I was also one of the last ones in line) and she was super sweet. At the end, she asked my name then reached out and hugged me and asked if I wanted a photo. SHE reached out to hug ME. I just couldn't believe it. Either way, she is one of the kindest people I've ever met and I recommend that everyone give her a chance.

(Also at Midtown, she did say she had music coming out "next month" [October], but she didn't specify if it was an album. She was probably referring to the two songs that'll be on the vinyl.)

this is so cute omg :icant: the way that she rubbed ur shoulder and hugged u :crai:

  5. i got kicker when she released it but i havent really payed attention to her lmao .... what other songs does she have?? like if im gonna start stanning what do i need to know

  6.  i feel like the only songs of hers that had hit potential are hbtb and west coast, maybe brooklyn baby . the only time ive ever heard her on the radio was that fast version of summertime sadness in 2012, and i heard west coast when it was released on my local alternative station, but tbh , most of her songs would flop on the radio without some aspect being changed. she's too slow, and too controversial . prisoner def couldve done something tho,  especially with a tv performance featuring both of them and a little harsher promo

  7. i feel like she's pretty neutral because she has problems w both parties, i def think she's more on the liberal side when it comes to social things like gay marriage etc,tho  i think her "i believe in the country america used to be" kinda lyrics and stuff doesn't mean like how republicans say it meaning they want racism and shit, but like a nostalgia for the past, the pop culture of the 50s-70s. idk how she is about economics and stuff tho, i feel like she doesn't really care abt stuff like that lol

  8. honestly idk if this is the right thread to put this or if it's already been said before but about her wearing like the same outfit everywhere (blue jeans & a white tee) a lot of celebs do this because it makes them a lot less desirable for paps like . if they go back to their boss w pics that look like they couldve been taken last week or last month or whenever depending on how many times the outfit has been repeated, they get paid less, and so they leave that celeb alone for a while because they wont ring in as much money and it would be considered a waste of time

so idk if she just doesnt want attention or if shes trying to hide so it's more news if she releases something in the future or whatever honestly idk but .. yeah take what u may from this

  9. i havent read in forever  :rip: so i literally just made a list of all the books on this thread to read later

but i plan on getting back into it (i used to love it as a kid, but i think required reading for school kind of put me off, since it made reading feel like an assignment :/   ) & im starting with the doors of perception by aldous huxley and the psychedelic experience by timothy leary (find a theme??? lmao) im very excited to get back into reading tho!! so im glad i saw this thread
