    even though it has been a fucking messy era, this is disrespectuful at least, bc lana, seeing this fucking mess, could just post a instagram story telling us that ~~may 26~~ isn't the official date. of course we would have our meltdowns but it wouldn't had reached this level

     

    she just tweeted "21 july fam" 1 day and a half before the fake release date, and, again, maybe this isn't unprofesional, but at least it's DISRESPECTFUL

     

    i have too much problems to give an actual shit about a release date (i do care a bit but not that much), but some people do care about it and they deserve to be listened, like everyone else

     

    but also...

     

    they have to listen the fans BUT we don't have the right to call him names in his own instagram (i don't saw anyone doing that but there's always offensive ppl) and, as i said before, maybe she has to record it again bc her team didn't liked the album and shit

    I kinda don't blame people for having meltdowns and shit like that because Lana and her team can be really unprofessional like any other team would have been like "Hey here's Lana's next album called Lust For Life it's coming out in July and you can preorder here" and that would be that. It would then be followed up by some singles and some videos, etc. but instead the fans are constantly left in the dark and Lana does weird shit like release a song that was rushed and isn't even on the album idk it's just... weird. Like, they're so unnecessarily secretive and quiet all the time. 

     

    In regards to the release - I have accepted the date; I'm not completely happy with the vague and random way it was just released, but that's that on that

    In regards to the album - I'm personally worried because I (personally) don't really enjoy collabs in general, and I tend to loathe excessively long albums in general. So the news that she's spent time adding songs and collabs isn't exactly delightful. This is just my personal preference so don't come for me. :hooker:

     

    In regards to this forum - I'm not sure if I'm looking at the past with rose coloured glasses on :slayty: but I don't think I've ever seen such general unpleasantness here. Of course there's been drama and hysterics, but I feel it's getting to the point where it's not even enjoyable to read through the thread anymore because of how toxic the atmosphere is. All I can say is that in the end we're all here because we love Lana, we all are entitled to different opinions, we all have a right to let others air their different opinions, and we all have a right to respond to those opinions in a calm and non-confrontational or ad-hominem manner. :kiss3:

    i think that her producers/agents/idk didn't 100% liked LFL so she is recording again to please them (like in UV era that lots of tracks were scrapped due to it)

    yes i do!!! but unfortunately i don't know how to play the vinyl  ((im scared of ruining it bc its freaking expensive)) soo i think i listened to music there 3 times ;(( and i have only two LPs, one from the beatles and another one from ABBA.....i don't own any from lana bc it's too expensive

    Goddess is more commercial, but The Altar is more artistic.

    goddamit i didn't know shit about her relationships with that guys from NYC (arthur lynn and shit, i knew a few only)

     

    i always thought that K, Ray and stuff were only her gangsta fantasies etc lol

    Well, here goes nothing  :facepalm: I've had this theory for years..

    So I have gathered similiar lyrics but did consider the "drive by sunday night" reference and the timing is also a bit earlier (making it line up with the release of Sirens). The difference though is that this crime took place in South LA. (We all know she travelled through the USA as mentioned in several songs and videos, I believe this was during her gap year. Tropico proves the LA theory as well)

     

    The double homocide took place on April 6th 2004 (Sunday to Monday night"drive by sunday night" - For K)
    at 2AM ("I was shot at 2AM" - Jump -> as in that's when Lana died, too, because she lost him forever because of the crime)
    over a drug dispute (I'm not gonna quote obvious themes in her music :toofunny:) 
    Lana was 18 at the time (gap year) 

    Two men shot a man and three women (witnesses) in the Nickerson Gardens housing project, two of the women survived and one of them was brave enough to testify (She died September the same year, and her funeral took place in St. Paul's Baptist Chruch ("Swinging in and out of Old Paul's" - Video Games)

    Sidenote: This could be a stretch but there's a Willowbrook street and a Willowbrook Park right next to the housing project ("See the willow bowing" - Out With A Bang)

    In July 2004 one of the men (K) involved in the shooting was convicted to murder charge (the articles don't say the amount of years but I guess 30 could be it) The jury split about the question of death penalty and the 'phase of the case should be retried'. (Not important but the other man involved had a different trial as he didn't confess)

    A piece of information that is missing is when they decided to put him on death row because in 2009 a judge denied to reduce his death sentence that's all I could find.

    K was 28/27 in 2004, so he does kinda fall into the older man type. I mean 10 years apart for an 18 year old is a lot imo.

     

    Now, his name is the most mind-blowing piece of information: Kai Harris (as in fucking K, Kai, KAY..)
