With LFL, I felt like her hippy dippy happiness was too over the top, and it didn't feel as genuine. I think Lana was really trying to convince people she wasn't this sad girl anymore. But with MAC, and the way she went into depth about her feelings, she seems more genuine about where she is in her life. She knows it's okay to be sad, but what's important is to keep going forward. I feel like we didn't get that with LFL, which is why I'm more optimistic about this upcoming album.

I'm actually very surprised Lana revealed the sound of LDR6 in the interview. Usually we have to piece all the clues together from other different sources. I'm really happy she's going for the surf influence, especially RHCP.
